Professional Leadership Coach: Diane Doise |

Diane
Doise received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University
in 1993. She currently works for Shell
Chemical LP in Norco, LA as a Process Control Engineer. Diane has been an active professional
member of SWE since 2000, starting in the Baton Rouge Section and for the
last two years in the Greater New Orleans section. She has held several officer positions from
Student Counselor to President on the local level and has served as
Region C treasurer. Diane
thoroughly
enjoys her
involvement with SWE .
It has provided her with leadership opportunities not always available
in the workplace and allowed Diane to give something back by
encouraging other women and young girls to pursue careers in engineering. She is currently active with the Greater
New Orleans section and helping breathe life back into the section after the
devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina.
In her
leisure time, Diane enjoys photography, travel and reading. She lives in Metairie, LA with her husband
Tom and their Boston Terror, Daisy. |
