Cassandra ‘KC’ Ducal

Cassandra Dugal (or Kc) originally from Alabama was implanted to Texas 5 years ago.  She is presently working for Texas Screw Products in Houston, Texas as the Supply Chain Operations Manager.  In her present working role, she spends quite a bit of time traveling around the Houston area to visit customers.  As an active engineer working on fasteners, she is active in the ASME Codes and Standards B18 Committee.  Her work on supply chain has led to a recent CPIM certification from APICS International.

Her roles in SWE have been gradually growing in responsibility since she joined 5 years ago.  For the Houston area, she has served as newsletter editor, section secretary and is presently acting Vice President External Affairs.  She was active on the National Career Guidance Committee last year.  Her role as Treasurer is her first jump into regional activities.

When asked, she states that joining SWE was one of the best things she did as a professional.  Even though she was not a member as a student, she has found a network of strong women to support her in professional level activities.

She is also very active in ASME having served locally and nationally.  In her seemingly small spare time, she supports the Ronald McDonald House of Houston and tries to keep up a consistent level of physical activity including a couple soccer teams and the infrequent rock climbing vacation.
