Samll group breakdown with "round robin" discussion of what the
professional memebers' careers and job are like. 

November, 2002 Joint "order of the engineer" meeting with NSPE.

December, 2002 Holiday outing at Kristina's in Bath for brunch
and shopping. The date will most likely be December 7th. 

Febuary/March, 2003 National Engineer's Week Banquet to be 
held in southern Maine. Also seeking a section representative to 
the Maine committee.

Late March, 2003 Regional SWE Conference in Boston region,
probably WPI. Karen will look into a WPI student "exchange" for 
Maine students to stay with WPI students.

May, 2002 The month of May is the time for our Certificate 
of Merit Program.  This annual program provides awards to high 
school junior girls who have excelled in math and science for three 
consecutive years.  SWE professionals travel to selected high schools 
to present the awards.  This year we will also be awarding a scholarship.

Please note that we are looking for volunteers to copy, fold, stuff, 
label, mail and coordinate presentors.
