2007 Event SWE Hartford Open House &
Networking Night A night of conversation and delicious treatsSeptember 20, 2007 On September 20th, SWE
Hartford hosted a successful kickoff event at the Dakota Restaurant in Rocky
Hill, CT. Over fifty attendees
had the opportunity to network during the night while playing SWE Bingo!
Prizes of a $25 Starbucks gift card, a $25 Dunkin Donuts gift card and a $50
Barnes & Noble gift card were raffled off during the event. A room full
of hors d’oeuvres and desserts was a popular location to stop and chat as
well. Announcements for the year’s event were available and many are already
anticipating the new SWE polo shirts. With a 50/50 ratio of member to
non-member along with a variety of people from academia, industry, college
and even high school, this event was a great start to the 2008 year and has
set the bar for SWE Hartford’s future events!
