Society of Women
Engineers (SWE)
is
a non-profit
educational service organization
whose goal is to encourage women to achieve their full potential in
careers as
engineers and leaders. The Southeast Region, also known as Region D,
includes Alabama , Florida , Georgia , North
Carolina ,
South Carolina ,Tennessee , Puerto Rico, and we proudly welcome the U.S. Virgin Islands to our region!
The Region strives to inspire
and encourage Sections to anticipate and meet the changing and diverse
needs of
their membership.

Leadership Retreat information has been posted on our website. Please go to the Leadership Retreat page for detailed schedule, travel, and registration information.

Lots of updates have been made today, including posting the winners of our Region Awards! Congrats to all the winners!
3-13-10: Diva Dialogue Posted
Our Region D Newsletter, the Diva Dialogue, is now posted on the Newsletter page.
1-11-10: Awards Packet Posted
The packet for Region D Awards has been posted in the SWE Communities Region D Community and on our Awards Page. Submission deadline is February 12, 2010 and winners will be announced at the Region D Conference.
1-4-10: Registration for Region D Conference Open!
Be sure to check out our region conference page to Register for the Region D Conference! The conference is taking place March 3-5, 2010 in Memphis, TN. The theme for this year's conference is Strategic Women Evolving Through Innovation. More information available here: http://swe.org/regiond/regiondconference/

Looking for the latest Region D updates? It's time you joined SWE Communities, our central location for documents, discussion, news, and updates.
Our next Region D Leadership meeting will take place on August 11, 2009. Look out for an e-mail from Eileen with call-in information. Region D Leadership meetings take place MONTHLY on Tuesday evenings; one representative from each section should attend.
