SWE RMS Professional Development Conference
Saturday, September 17 at the Aloft Hotel in Broomfield.This conference was designed in service of you! We went over the top and brought in a nationally recognized speaker that you normally only see at national level conferences-and we made it affordable and accessible to our local sections! Our intention was to create a unique experience for SWE members to learn something professionally relevant together-not only from the presenters, but from actively engaging with other attendees. The workshops are designed to have you work in small groups, providing you with an interactive way of connecting with others. And, there is ample time between the workshops and at lunch to further your networking.
We are also excited about the optional afternoon activities available to you. Through the technical tour of Ascent Solar, you will not only get to see how some of today's solar technology is created, you will also learn about the growing solar industry and it's opportunities. In addition, at the request of one of our own SWE-RMS members, we've collaborated with a local female golf pro to create a beginner's golf clinic. This clinic is designed to launch an on-going golf program where members can connect in a fun way that increases our social savvy in our professional careers.
