Collective Wisdom Groups

Collective Wisdom Groups are taking on a new venture for 2012- CWG Book Clubs! These groups are a new idea developed from the experience of previous CWGs and the inspiration of how big a difference it makes when we have a trusted group of people we can learn with. Are you someone who likes to read business, leadership, self improvement or organizational books? Or perhaps you have an intention to read more this year but never find the time? Do you love learning new ideas and perspectives and then expanding what you learn by discussing it with others? If you are ready for something new, something that could rock your 2012, the CWG Book Clubs might be just the opportunity for you.How does that look?

  • There is a suggested reading list of 5 books.
  • Each group agrees on the 5 books, or agrees on alternates suggested by the group members
  • In each meeting, the group processes together what has been learned, new insights, how to apply the new knowledge and what happens when this is applied.
  • Logistics: small groups of SWE members who meet weekly or biweekly for 6 months (or longer) usually via teleconference.

If you are interested in joining one of these groups, please contact Anna Meck at chair@swermsprograms.com. Here are two suggested reading lists we have created.
